BlairgowrieBlairgowrie sits on the banks of the River Ericht and is often referred to as the Berry Town. The climate is ideal for soft fruits in particular the raspberry. There are a variety of shops, from the large retailer to small independent shops, and many hotels and restaurants to sample Scottish fayre. The championship golf course at Blairgowrie Golf Club, Rosemount is a 5 minute drive away, or there are plenty golf courses within an hours drive. Blairgowrie Recreation Centre is a 5 minute walk from our front door, where you can go swimming 9am-10pm during school holidays, lunch-time and evenings and weekends during the school term. For some super walks the Blairgowrie Path Network has five paths through a variety of stunning scenery, each route varies in length. The Cateran Trail starts in Blairgowrie and is a 64 mile trail, usually taking 4 or 5 days, there is also a popular walking festival in the Autumn. We are a mere 40 minute drive to the Glenshee Ski Slopes.
